In the summer months, I love wearing flip flops (thong sandals) as much as possible. They're comfortable, they go on and off my feet easily, and my feet don't get hot when I wear them.
There is one major difference, though, between when I wear them and when others wear them: mine don't annoyingly slap my feet when I walk.
Yes, it's quite possible to walk on just about any surface without having flip flops smack the bottoms of your feet as you stroll along. How do I know this? Because I can do it! I don't walk any different than anyone else with two fully-functioning legs, so why can I avoid making this horribly irritating sound and no one else can?
